Commissioner John Wiley Price has served Dallas County since 1984 as District 3 Commissioner and his leadership has been integral to public safety and fiscal wellness of Dallas County.

A County Commissioner, by statute, is principally responsible for maintaining county roads and bridges. Commissioner Price has been and is pivotal to public safety by raising the standards of our jails, County courts, and juvenile and Sheriff’s departments. Dallas County continues to provide a template and example for other governmental entities across the state and nation.
