Vincent Hall, Office Manager

Vincent Lewis Hall is a native of Dallas Texas, and is a 23 year employee with SBC Corporation. In his career he has held many positions including, TSPS Operator, Service Rep as well as various management titles in Billing, Orders, 911 Deployment, Statewide Call Trace group, District Staff Manager, Area Manager Consumer Sales, Director of the Pacific Bell North Consumer Region , based in Sacramento California, and presently serves as Area Manager for the Emerging Products Center with SBC in Dallas.

One of his passions is writing, to which he produces an editorial for the Dallas Weekly under the moniker ’Quit Playin‘. This weekly series is dedicated to current events and political developments from an African American perspective. He has been recognized and received awards for his editorial work by the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ).

Additionally he serves part-time as the second Administrative Assistant to Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, another task that keeps him interfaced with the community and well grounded in the issues. He is currently working toward publishing his first book.

Vincent has also been very involved in a number of civic and political undertakings throughout his career. He has served as board member various institutions, such as Big Brothers/Sisters, United Way, MLK Advisory Board, Dallas Police Advisory Commission, Dallas Grand Jury, the National Superconducting/Supercollider Development Authority, the Urban League Guild, and a plethora of other affiliations.

He presently sits on the Board of the Dallas Federal Telco Credit Union, and served as President of that board for five years. He ran unsuccessfully for the office of Dallas City Council District 5 in 1995, and does not rule out the possibility of another attempt at elected public service.

Vincent attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Skyline High in 1975. He also holds an A.A. in Liberal Arts degree from Cedar Valley College (1989) and a B.S.S. in Business from Ohio University in Athens (2002). He is married to Michaela Jones Hall and the proud father of three beautiful daughters, Erinn 28, Alison 21 and a one year old Hailee.
